Opening of “International Special Sessions”
(Designated English-Language Sessions)
The Japan Society for the Study of Teacher Education(“JSSTE”) welcomes you to the new project of the 35th Annual Conference, to be held in September 2025.
Since its establishment in 1991, the JSSTE has been working to foster education professionals and to create the future of teacher education through comprehensive research from various perspectives. For the first time at the 35th Annual Conference, we have decided to hold “International Special Session” to provide a forum for the exchange of research presentations. In addition, this session will be open to non-members in this session only, aiming to create a forum for open discussion. Please consider participating.
Detailed participation requirements will be posted on this website via a link in late April 2025.
We look forward to seeing you at Utsunomiya University, where the 35th Annual Meeting will be held.

Proposal Application Overview
・The research presentation session will be held on the morning of the second day of the conference (scheduled for September 21) from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm. All presentations and discussions will be in English.
・The presentation time is 30 minutes per individual presentation and 50 minutes per joint research presentation.

＊Due to the capacity of the presentation venue, a maximum of four presentations will be accepted for this year’s event.
Submission instructions and review process
・Submissions from non-members are also encouraged, as long as they align with the interests of the JSSTE members. Applications will be reviewed accordingly.
・Please apply by May 31st, and the review results will be notified in June. After that, you will be asked to pay the conference participation fee (※The payment due date will be announced at a later date.).
